Elysara

Angels

Messenger of the Veil

Elysara is an angel entrusted with communication between the celestial stations built along the Veil. She carries warnings, confirms whether a breach is genuine and ensures that distant wardens do not mistake a local disturbance for a world-wide attack.

Her gift is not Elirion’s overwhelming light. Elysara produces steady radiance that can cross storms and magical interference without losing its meaning. Mortal beacon systems were modelled on the signals she used during the First Age.

The Covenant’s quiet architect

After three border garrisons failed to share news of the same demon raid, Elysara advised the negotiations that became the Covenant of Avelorn. She refused command of its armies. Instead, she taught each kingdom the same warning sequence so messages could survive rivalry between their rulers.

That practical decision saved more lives than a single spectacular intervention. Even during wars between kingdoms, the beacon code remained neutral.

Witness to the Blinding Aurora

At Mythos, Elysara coordinated the evacuation routes outside the observatory while Elirion and Zaldor prepared their seal. She was among the few celestial witnesses who understood how close the brothers came to dying.

She now maintains the most complete celestial record of the Aurora and watches its faint return in the sky. When those colours intensify, Elysara treats them as a warning that the Veil is under pressure somewhere in the mortal realm.
