Fish Rarities
What it is
Fish Rarities apply common through mythic rarity modifiers to measured fish.
Requirements
- A fishing contest must be active for catches to enter its ranking.
- The fish must be caught during the contest.
How it works
Eligible catches receive a species, size and rarity. The contest tells you whether the largest or smallest catches rank highest.
Your best qualifying catch remains on the leaderboard until the contest ends or you improve it.
Costs, limits and cooldowns
- Default rarity chances: common 43%, uncommon 30%, rare 16%, epic 8%, legendary 2.5% and mythic 0.5%.
- Rarity modifies the possible measured size.
Values may change during balancing. The amount or timer shown in-game is the one that applies.
