Lore
In the ancient continent Eldoria, a continent steeped in mystery and magic, there arose a figure of unparalleled power and destiny. This is the tale of Elirion Alderon, a remarkable Elf who would become a god and shape the very fabric of the continent Nevara.
Born to the loving embrace of Sylvara Alderon, a compassionate and enchanting figure, Elirion’s life began amidst a small, peaceful town. However, his childhood was marred by tragedy as the town was ravaged and destroyed, forcing Elirion and his mother to become nomads, wandering through the lands in search of solace and safety. In their time as nomads Elirion’s brother Zalrith Thertriun was born growing up as a nomad, but this wasn’t for long. The two didn’t like being nomads. They missed their friends and a safe place. Along their journey, more nomads joined them, finding strength and unity in their shared struggles. It was then that the seeds of a kingdom were sown, a place that would eventually be known as Avelorn.
A year before Valeros was created Zalrith Thertriun chose to go on his own path and left the nomads. Elirion and his family were shocked but kept going. Sylvara, blessed with both wisdom and magical prowess, became a beacon of hope for the displaced, and it was she who would lead the nomads and shape Valeros into a prosperous kingdom. Crowned as the queen, Sylvara guided her people with grace and compassion, fostering a society that thrived under her wise rule.
However, fate dealt a cruel blow when the demons descended upon the kingdom. Sylvara valiantly fought against the encroaching darkness but fell in a valiant battle, leaving Elirion shattered by grief and burdened with the weight of leadership. Determined to honor his mother’s legacy, Elirion took up the mantle of kingship, embracing the responsibility of protecting his people and upholding the ideals of peace and prosperity.
But destiny had even grander plans for Elirion. As he delved deeper into his own magical abilities, he uncovered a startling truth – he was not merely an Elf but a god. His powers exceeded anything ever witnessed, and he realized his true purpose was to clear the world of demons. So he thought.
In a cataclysmic war against the demonic forces that threatened to engulf the continent, Elirion summoned forth a cataclysmic event known as The Blinding Aurora. With an explosion of unparalleled magnitude, he eradicated countless demons but inadvertently unleashed a wave of energy that washed over the land. The flash from the sky was seen far and wide, and the old continent was decimated, giving birth to a new continent – Nevara.
With the creation of this new land, Elirion solidified his status as a deity, revered and feared by all. His divine influence permeated every corner of Nevara, and he became known as the most powerful god ever known. Yet, his heart remained burdened by the memory of his mother and the sacrifices made in the name of peace.
Elirion‘s story is one of profound power, loss, and the unyielding spirit of resilience. As the god-king of Avelorn, he now guides his people, shaping the fate of Nevara and navigating the intricate dance between gods and mortals. The echoes of his legacy reverberate through the ages, a testament to the indomitable spirit of a god who once walked among mortals.
